The year is coming to an end and what a year it has been!
The children have worked hard and should be very proud of their achievements. Camp was a success and a great way for our two classes to round off the year by spending time together and taking on challenges.
The next couple of weeks will be busy with celebrations, finishing off units of work and tidying up loose ends. Below are a few bits and pieces that the children will need to be aware of.
Room 13 have their last swimming session on Thursday 1st December.
Room 14 have a catch up session on Monday 5th December at 1:20pm.
All readers need to be returned to school by Friday 9th December.
All library books need to be returned to school by Friday 2nd December. If you can not find your library books please let the office know.
Whole School Treat
On Wednesday 7th December the whole school will be going to the Esplanade as a school wide treat. The children will be playing games and having a sausage sizzle. Our class is also going to take part in ‘Palmy Rocks’. This is a community incentive which involves children painting rocks and hiding them in local parks and bush areas. The children will also be hunting for rocks painted by other children.
We will be painting our rocks on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th of December. Please encourage your child to collect some small rocks (no more than 5) and bring them to school on Monday so they can paint them and take part on Wednesday.
Thank you for your support this year. We have really enjoyed teaching your children and getting to know their families.
